Today has been fun, with some configurations, some programming, and a whole lot of witing… I am in the process of getting the CDMA unit enabled – after some issues. The WWW site is getting more hits, but the Google AdWords is not doing quite as well… I guess that it will improve as time goes on. I also need to add more content to the site…
What I am seeing is that various blog entries saying that I have issues with programming are getting people looking at them – indicating that I was not the only one having the issue. This is good to know in a way… showing that I was not dumb by taking some time to solve whatever the issue was.
On the back of various hacks for electric cars comes this one… This person has managed to put solar cells onto the roof of his Toyota Prius, and this improved the fuel economy by soemthing like 6%.
There is also more information here about turning the Prius into a Hybrid with a charger and extra batteries. Not cheap… All this really does point out how inefficient normal cars are.
The Imsai 8080 was one of the first home computers available. Now, there is a new version. I must admit that I have an issue with the way they have done this, but it does have a sort of ancient look to it. Generally it was fairly cool.
