My visit to Newcastle and the central coast tomorrow is off unfortunately. I was looking forward to it – I have not been up there since the end of last year… And that was only a day trip to see a school presentation day. I will have to get up there in the next few weeks, but not tomorrow.

I went to get some things today… Some connectors at Tandy… That was a joke. I wanted a three pin connector. They had four and two pin connectors according to their computer. And then they could not even find the four pin versions… I really wanted the three pin one. Jaycar will have them… Thankfully they are not too far away.

I have been trying to get a CDMA modem connected to the network. Ringing up Telstra is useless. They say to visit a Telstra Premium Dealer, and tell me that the local Retravision is one. And then when I go there they are not… They have not been for about 12 months. That is really useful. Then I ring up again, and I get given the details of another company I have never heard of in Ingleburn as well as Retravision.. Actually I had never heard of the street that this other company is in. Sure, it does exist, but I needed to look at the directory to find this out.

I am about to go and try again. I am not overly confident. Not by any stretch of the imagination at all…
