An Evening Update

Firstly, why is an evening update being posted at 6AM? Well, that is because I originally wrote this update last night, and the upload failed. Oh, well. C’est La Vie.

Yesterday afternoon was spent preparing plane parts for painting… A glorious six hour job playing with acid and other noxious chemicals. This time I let Richard do the fun stuff with the more horrible chemicals.

My arm is still playing up – I right now have about 90 degrees of rotation instead of 180 degrees… Last night I actually had trouble eating Thai for dinner with a fork. I had to hold the fork mostly with a clenched fist to be able to eat. I sure hope it gets better soon.

I am glad that this is not normally how I am. I feel sorry for people who are like this all day every day. About 18 months ago my mother had problem with her shoulder which turned out to be a rare form of lymphoma in the bone. 12 months ago today she was in hospital recovering from one of the rounds of the Chemo and was given three units of blood. Thankfully she has regained most of her movement too.

Last night I was up late working on stuff for my business. I need to make a few decisions very quickly, and present them in a logical manner. The financial impact is likely to be significant, particularly if the job is not done correctly on my side. I have some paperwork developed by an IP lawyer to respond too.

Anyway it is time to get back to that before starting on painting of the plane parts.

I have now added an article I wrote back in 2003 to my Blog, where I attended a Conference in New Zealand. It was fun. I also have to give a presentation at an event on the Central Coast on the 25th… All I need to do now is to work out what I want to talk on, and prepare the presentation!

My brother has bought himself a DVD player during the week. He purchased what is probably the only one on the market without a volume control on it. Not much use when you have speakers without a volume control. He also didn’t realise that I actually had a spare un-used DVD player at home. So he is returning the DVD player and buying mine off me.
