What I forgot to mention about my run earlier was that I think I have worked out how my body copes with exercise. When I start it is hard, but builds up to a hump, and then things get harder, even to do the same amount of exercise. This may be when the easy to burn fat is exhausted, and real effort is required to burn more fat. So it takes a while to build back up to the point after going back a bit. Once you are after that point things are easier. It would probably be easier to explain with a diagram but I have better things to do at 10:15pm at night. Sleep is one of them… I have a nice warm bed with my name on it. Well, it does not literally have my name on it, but you know what I mean.

Lake Powell

Yesteday I think it was I promised a photo of Lake Powell which is about 40m below it’s normal level right now. So, here it is. This is a photo of a little town called Page, on the Utah / Arizona border. It really is a nice place, as can be seen in this photo. It is one of those places that looks just as nice in real life as in postcards.

Actually, having written that I think that a Ken Duncan style photo of page would really look fantastic. Not being in Oz I am not sure he would do it, but still.

Music

‘All That Jazz’ from ‘Chicago’ – I performed in a highschool fashion parade many moons ago dressed in a 1920’s suit that I had made as an assignment to this track.
