
I though this was so cool. A few years back when i was working for Pacific Power I took some time to visit the USA. A guy who was working near me had retired and driving around the USA. So we arranged to meet up in LA. He picked me up in his 40 foot Winnebago which towered over most of the hotel busses – it was so cool. On the subject of Travel, there is a story on CNN about how poor passengers are being stranged at the Denver International Airport. I attended a conference in Denver back in 2002, and they had six months rainfall in two afternoons when the conference was on. In fact during one of my presentations they lost power for a few seconds. The photo below is of Denver International in September 2002.
CNN also has a story about a 6th class student who was caught counterfeiting $1 notes to use at the school canteen. The canteen noticed and keep it’s eye out, and then called police when they found the culprit. Maybe they should be going for plastic money.
