It is now official. I am a Doctor. The Government has licensed me as one. This is from a Federal Government WWW site… And anyone can search it and see the details if if you go to the ACA WWW site and search their license database. I think this is so cool.

From MARS with Love

The ESA have announced on the BBC that they are looking at a project for 2011 to send a probe to Mars and return with some soil samples. This would be an extreme effort, given that the last probe to MARS went missing.

Simpsons Politics in Oz

A politician in the Northern Teritory in a Simpon-esque way, has suggested that people whack Cane Toads to kill them. You can read the story on the SMH

In a similarly humorous story, they are also reporting that a person has appealed a sentance in the USA for trying to kill a friend by mixing acid with his beer. He is apealing because he is claiming inadequate legal representation. This would be fine, except for one thing. He was representing himself.

Darwin Awards

The 2004 Darwin Awards are out, for services to natural selection. That is political speak for people who have in some way been stopped from passing on their genes after doing really stupid things. Most recipients have managed to kill themselves. What they have done is really stupid and interesting.
