I have just got home and I now have more work than I can poke a stick at. I now need to see how I can offload some of it to other people whilst still making a profit. The meeting this morning was good. It ‘should’ be an easy project, but my guess is that there will be some complications. There always are it seems. This will be a good project – I am just not sure of the NDA issues at the moment, so I cannot say much more than that. Once more I need to do documentation to produce a proposal for the client – and they are interested in some type of profit share too.

The second meeting today was basically done from the boot of my car – with two laptops sitting there working away with the 240V inverter and also a wireless connection. I do love having the wireless connection – actually on this job I could not have done it any other way thanks to the architecture of the system. It was interesting seeing people from the company I was doing the work for come back from lunch. They would stop by asking questions… And generally interrupting. Thankfully I had someone there running interference.

And since I have got home I have needed to spend most of the time on the phone. Working out a server that was not working, then some administration stuff, and working out what phones are needed for the church manse, and working out how to do that. And unfortunately much of this is not chargable. Anyway I have some work to do before the post office closes… More soon.
