I hate not having access to my normal PC. At the moment it is on the other side of the room being used by a programmer whilst I need to use my old DELL laptop. This machine is only 1 GHz making it a bit slow by todays standards. Still it is a good workhorse. More memory would be good but at the moment I use it so rarely that I have not bothered with spending the money. Frankly I have no need since I mostly just use a terminal emulator anyway which uses so little CPU and memory. Same with Remote Desktop…

I decided that I would install MSN Chat on my server since it is the place that I am most likely to have access to when I do not have access to my main PC. This was fine until it decided that the random picture for my chat sessions was the horses… The person I was chatting to told me they had taken a screenshot, but some blackmail got that deleted… I hope. And the picture has been changed. Something more respectable. In order to find out how you will just have to chat when I am using MSN on the server…

I am expecting a phone call from the states in order to talk about this client… Any minute… I think he will be pleased that I have something finally working… A few more steps are needed, but it is at least a step in the right direction
