I just read in the paper version of the Sydney Morning Herald that one of the original Pointer Sisters has died in L.A. I suspect it was complications following years of drug abuse, but that was not noted in the article. The Pointer Sisters were popular years ago with ‘Jump (For my love)’.

A girl in the UK has been cured of cardiomyopothy which is an inflamation of the heart. For some reason when she received a heart transplant at age two, they left her heart in, and put her new heart on the other side of her body. Now, ten years later, her body was rejecting the new heart, so the doctors decided to reconnect her old heart back up, and use it. Surprisingly not only did it start, it no longer has signs of cardiomyopothy.

And The Register is reporting on a High Courty case in the UK that has found that an unsigned email was not legally binding even if it came from the person that the email address said it came from. Various lawyers suggest therefore that adding disclaimers to the bottom of emails may increase legal liability rather than reduce them… Interesting.
