One of the WWW sites I visit had a banner advert for a strange thing called The DaVinci Coder. This is just a hilarious advertising campaign for an SQL product as far as I can work out. Quite satirical really – although I suspect that it would be a heap better if it were an English campaign rather than an American one.

I have been hacking together a billing data collection routine today – the software seems to be working well… creating excel spreadsheets showing the details for billing. Normally I would have been using something more advanced for reports, but in this case Excel is better since I can then post process things to generate the invoices.
