I do not believe this. In the USA an alcholic was fired at an ethanol plant. He drank some ethanol from a drain that contained spilt ethanol fuel, and passed out. His workmates took him to hospital who gave him a blood test which showed he had about twice the lethal level of alcohol in his blood. Then the management searched his workplace and found some softdrink cans with traces of ethanol in them and fired him. He took them to court claiming that they did not provide him a safe place of emplyment as an alcoholic. Thanfully he lost when the judge said that the company could not be expected that an alcoholic would drink fuel from a drain.

On the recreation front, Hammacher Schlemmer have released a clear plastic kayak. This would be great in the tropics where they have clear water… I would guess that the bottom would get scratched all the the time though so it would not last long… Cool none the less

Anyway I need to get going – I am spending the day at Pymble, and need to get fuel and money first.
