I think I have missed something with the government plans to subsidize LPG installation into vehicles. So the government is paying people to change their vehicles to LPG which is less fuel efficient than petrol. You end up using more fuel, but it costs less because the fuel is cheaper.
But the reason why the fuel is cheaper is the taxation on the fuel to pay for roads. So the government is subsidizing LPG which will mean less tax revenue to pay for roads. Which means worse roads. What is going on here?
