Ouch…

Ouch? Well… let me tell you a story. I have been working doing some work for a courier company. The cases that I had for their tracking units were not really good enough for their environment so I needed to get some different cases. I had the cases in stock so this was not too much of an issue.

The problem was the aluminium ends. These were machined down in albury for me on the weekend, and I got them this morning. But the holes were too small. So I needed to drill them bigger. Thanks to Richard I knew which tool to buy, and picked up one, and started drilling the parts. The problem was that they got VERY hot, and I tried to pick up the 2nd one and burnt the tip of my index finger on my right hand. Right now I have a blister on the top of the finger, and it is not too sore. But it would have been better not to have done that…
