I have been busy this afternoon with programming tasks. Mostly on the Rabbit stuff, although I have been using VB.Net all day too. I did not realise how much I enjoyed the Microsoft compilers, since they provide help for me as I work on removing bugs from my software. I also had an hour long phone call with a client delivering a prototype of some work I had done for him.

The GPS program has been busy today. It has ‘driven’ about 1400 km today. Central Queensland to Parkes then Penrith and the southern highlands. And thanks to the GPS simulator, all without leaving my office.

I just got an email from Microsoft telling me that I will be getting a free upgrade to the VB.NET software later in the year. This is good news as the last upgrade cost me about $1000 so a free upgrade will be fantastic. Mind you, I suspect that I will need to buy a new PC to use it. The current version of the software takes about two hours on this fast computer. I hate to think what the next version will be like.

Still no news if i will be working on the plane tomorrow… I guess I will not be, but things could change at any time.

More Sesame Street

According to Cookie Monster on Sesame Street has gone Politically Correct. He is now starting to eat lots of fruit. So maybe now ‘C’ is not for ‘Cookie’, but ‘Carrot’. The CNN story has a photo of Cookie Monster with a collection of fruits. Cookie Monster looks a bit out of place I must say.
