I have been working on the program this morning… The one I hope to get finished today. We will see. Right now I am working on updating it over the web. What I am seeing with VB.NET is that there are always about three ways to do things. Right now what I want to do is to download a file from the web in my program. This is so easy in VB.NET, although it does take about five lines. Better than the 50 lines in older versions of the software.

I found an interesting article this morning on the work that they are doing in the vatican to make sure that the discussions for the pope are kept private. They are making sure that there are no electronic devices, laser microphones or anything of the sory. The story is available on This link

There is also an interesting article on the SMH about the search for a new High Court judge. This one finanlly notes that frontrunner David Bennet has some issues, since he is from NSW, and so are five of the seven High Court judges. He became Solicitor General for Australia about the same time that the last member was apointed to the High Court.
