A month back I saw a story in the LA Times about how a crime syndicate was invoicing a health fund in the USA for fake surgery. According to an Article in News.Com, the same style of thing is being tried here in Oz. But in this case they just forged the invoices and sent them to Medicare to be claimed under the safetynet, and the doctors were not involved. The church PC is now running correctly with Internet up and running. I thought that the dialup settings were in a file on the disk. When I went looking for it I could not find it, leading me to suspect that the settings are actually in the registry. And the settings were only here on this computer… So I went down today with the setting. Worked first time. Sometimes things just work…

My photo viewing program on my main PC is acting up. I think it is fixed now… The thumbnails in one of the directories got corrupted. Regenerating the pictures is fast and I think things are working better now would you believe. My main PC is certainly in the need of a re-build. I will see if I can borrow a HDD from a friend in order to do that job… We will see…
