Not that this following joke describes me at all… I promise it does not.

An Engineer, a Lawyer and an Accountant were discussing which was better to have – a wife or a mistress.

The Lawyer was first to talk. He said “It is obvious. If you have a wife they get half of everything, so of course it is better to have a mistress who gets nothing“.

The Accountant then pipes up – and notes “You are wrong! There are significant tax advantages to having a wife… you can split your incomes and it better for you financially.

The two of them then asked the Engineer, so that he would have to tell them which of the other two was right. The Engineer replied “Well, you are both wrong!“. Not understanding, they asked him to explain…

You see“, the Engineer commented, “you need both.” leaving the Lawyer and the Accountant stunned, replying in unison “BOTH?“. “Yes, Both.” replied the Engineer. “My Mistress thinks that I am with my Wife; My wife thinks that I am with my Mistress, and I am really in the workshop doing cool stuff“.

Other stuff

The weather is not great here today… With some rain. There was some rain on the flight back last night, with us flying though a bit of cloud. But not too bad though really. There is enough rain arround to get things wet, but not enough really to do much good unfornately.

My latest Microsoft shipment came in today by Fedex. Well, it came in yesterday, but there was no-one here so they brought it in today… One of the things I have been meaning to look at is the SharePoint server software – and a new service pack of it was included in the four DVD’s from Microsoft. So I am copying that to my server at the moment. Why not just put the DVD into the server direct? Well, there are two reasons. Firstly that would mean going to the server area. And the most important reason is that the server does not have a DVD reader. Just a CD drive.

Oops… Just noticed that I need SQLserver running. Now I remember why I have not installed it before. When I do my own similar program I will not require a database… At least not one like SQLserver. OK. Well, I was wrong. It installs a database of its own if you want anyway. So there was no need to install SQLserver.
