I saw this link to the National Geographic Web Site. This is video from in a twister. Unlike the movie, the device is desgned to stay on the ground, and did. The video is cool, and it would have been even better if it had hit more than a glancing blow to the camera assembly. All in all it was a WOW.

On the LA Times WWW site is a story about a short concert. This one is a bit unusual – the performer is a 90 year old with arthritis. The concert is actually being played by the 90 year old Guitarist Les Paul for his birthday. Les was the person who invented the electric guitar.

This photo is from one of my trips to Hollywood, and shows his handprints in
