I am meeting a client this evening for dinner. This is a client I have been working with for about 18 months, so it will be nice to meet him. I am picking him up from the airport tonight, and then we are going to dinner.

I have just received a parcel from Microsoft… I answered a telephone survey from them a month or two back, and they sent me a parcel with a present in it. It contained, get this, a Fingerprint Reader!!! Yes… A Fingerprint Reader. I am about to restart the PC so that I can finish installing the software. I think this is really nice of Microsoft!

There is no movement with the ‘Fergy 8’ tractors, so I would guess that they are having the day off, relaxing at dalhousie. What I love is that coming up (when they finally leave) there will be a bore on the left side called the ‘Alka Seltzer Bore’. Sounds like a great descriptive name for the place.

The BBC is reporting the funeral of the minister who started the Taize religous community in eastern France. About 10,000 people have attended the funeral of Brother Roger. The 90-year-old Swiss-born theologian was stabbed to death by a Romanian woman while celebrating mass last week.
