The Fergy 8 people are due to leave the Alka Seltzer Bore and journey up ‘The French Line’ slowly towards Birdsville today. 10km up the road is the Purni Bore, where the water comes out close to boiling point. The entire greenery surrounding landscape has been created soley by the permament flow of water coming out of this bore.
The Sydney Morning Herald has another story about E-Tags and how they can be used to keep track on motorists. This is being done silently in the USA where the tags are read on some roads to measure trip times. There was an article 18 months ago in the Sydney Morning Herald where I was quoted talking about the technology behind the tags. In the meantime, my E-Tag page sorely needs updating too – but is getting a good number of hits.
From the USA comes this really really small WebServer. It would cost about $5-$10 to build. Not a bad effort. Actually, it is an amazing effort. I do not believe how they have got so much technology into such a small package. Thare are calling this the ‘IPic – Match Head Sized Web-Server’
