I have now got down to 60 unread email messages in Outlook. I have looked at most of the unread messages – having them there is sort of a to-do list for things that are not on my to-do list. It is just how I manage things. Within the next few hours I hope to have got through more of these messages. It will be good to have a clean in-box – it does not happen all that often, but it does happen.
I released a new version of my TeamTrack software earlier today. I had not released a copy since before christmas, and this one was needed to allow people to add their own positions to the locality database. That is, if you were installing equipment at the local shopping centre you could add the position of the centre into the database, and then when you did reports it would work out when you were at that centre. Simple concept but really really powerful. I also managed to get a few minor bug-fixed included too.
I need to get to writing a spec for the WebService back end at some stage soon… The job is on my to-do list… I just need to actually do it. It is not a critical thing, but is something that I should get done this month some time.
Anyway time to get back to my email…
