I have spent some more time working with ‘Updater’ from The Code Project, and the more I look at the program the more I can see that it has issues. I actually could not work out how to actually get the software to work. No installer should be that hard to use. Maybe I should just pay for a commercial program to do this.

WHat I was able to do was to shut down my old PayPal account. I removed a credit card from my other account, and paid $2 to verify it on the old account. Then sent the money to my other account. And closed the one I wanted to shut down. Then attached the email and card that were attached to that account to my other account. Sounds complex, but it works. And now I only have one account, and it has both email addresses.

The following photo was in the SMH today, and I thought it was cute. It was under the caption of “Snapper’s Choice: Herald Photographers on their favourite unpublished shots”. It came with the caption “The Lonely Station are underground activists who use gradffiti to make their point. I took this shot of them on George St [In the city] about 6:30am. They understand that if they dress the part, they blend into their surroundings and people won’t know if they are meant to be there or not. The piece they were working on stayed up for about 4.5 hours”

CNN is reporting on a legal case in Italy. This one reminds me of the hillariously funny ‘The man who sued god’, although the subject is slightly different. In this case the plaintif is trying to have it proved that Jesus did not exist – by arguing that the church ‘abused the popular belief’ and misled the public over the existance of Jesus. Regardless of peoples belief in god, a lot more people believe that Jesus did exist, even if he was not the son of anyone important.
