Tomorrow I have to help my brother installing a whole lot of lights. Should be a fun distraction – not that I have the time, but I need to do it. My mother also has an important meeting… With her doctoral supervisors, probably to hear back from the people who examined her thesis. There will probably be some changes that need to be made, but that is normal with a doctorate.

I can only guess what happened… This morning when driving over to Brookvale I saw a car on the right hand shoulder. This is unusual, and dangerous. But the best bit was that the car was sitting on top of a mattress. I cannot for the life of me work out how that would have happened.

When I was in the USA I picked up a couple of Disney picture frames for a friends two kids. Since then I had not had a chance to actually drop them in… Whenever we have caught up it has been more by accident than good planning… Since i knew I was dropping past his office today I decided to actually drop the picture frames in. It turned out that he had picture frames for family photos… but nothing for the kids themselves. So he was stoked to get the frames. They are so cute… They have a button which lights up little stars around the edge…
