My internet access is working far better now. I needed to restart my ADSL modem, and things were then fine. I am guessing that the NAT table filled up and caused the modem to effectivly be totally clogged with junk. There was probably a more elegant way of getting it working again but I did not even think to look. After all, I did not even know that there was a problem with the moment. Restarting it fixed things. I think I last needed to restart about a month or so back, so it is not going too badly. And it was still working anyway!

The SMH is reporting of a hotel in Canada that has a couple of Labradors that they loan out to their guests… These are dropouts from Guide Dog school so are fairly well behaved, and know the city well. Guests are encouraged to borrow one of the dogs and take them on walks. Such a cute idea… I have grown to apperciate dogs in the last year, and I guess I think this is such a cute idea. Almost a good enough reason to visit Canada by itself!

ZDNet is reporting that a Group in the USA wants to buy Telstra’s CDMA phone network rather than see it shut down. I am guessing that the group is associated with Qualcomm, and see the closing of the network as being a nail in the coffin of the companies plans for world domination using CDMA.
