Speaking to one of my installers today I got talking about planes. The installer was actually an aerospace engineering dropout, and was rather interested in the fact that I was helping to build a plane. Whilst on the phone, the installer mentioned he had been watching a show on TV called ‘A Plane Is Born’…
This show is a 15 part series showing a person actually build their own plane. Previous shows have shown building a car and other things. I think the show looks really cool… I will have to look out for it on TV. I might actually learn something š
I have been searching for information on the Europa plane that this series is based on but I have not been able to find the Web Site for the manufacturer of the kit. The WebSite is actually dead at the moment which might mean that they have ceased business. More work needed.
I was speaking to a client earlier today… another plane builder. It looks like he will be able to fly his plane for the first time in about a couple of months time. Wow. He was only getting his engine delivered in january
