Another good feeling… I have just got my BAS out of the way. It should have been sent off a few days back, but I was waiting on some essential information. Information has been received so now it is in the post.

As a small business owner I just noticed that the OH&S situation in NSW has just changed. The requirement was that employers had to provide an absolutely safe working place which realistically is impossible. [After all, even coffee has a materials safetly data sheet, and the employer is liable for the coffee can dropping on you foot]… So according to news.com.au the standard is being changed to a “reasonably practicable” to guarantee safety. What that means is anyones guess, but it is certainly better for employers.

Wired is reporting about some of the people who have been caught in the USA attempting to get onto planes and are concidered a security risk. Some are classics… But the best was a Continental Airlines flight-crew member traveling as a passenger, who complained to TSA, “If I am safe enough to work on a plane then I should be fine to be a passenger sleeping.”
