I cannot really believe this… Someone has released a set of photos on flickr of Airline spoons. You heard right – they have a website of photos of spooks from airlines around the world! I have no idea why someone would do it either. And I did not go looking for this – it was a link on BoingBoing.

One of my clients suggested I look at the Paper Valet software which manages scanned document, and even manages OCR’ing the PDF files. I will have to download the software and try it out.

In the same conversation I was talking about the Copernic desktop search engine. And he used a strange pronunciation. I cannot even remember what it was, but I knew what it was. All I knew was that it was wrong… So I showed him where the name was from. It was actually from Copernicus who was the astronomer in the 1400 and 1500’s who came up with the idea of a sun-centred solar system. The wikipedia article is an interesting read on his history…
