I am a bit tired, and should have been in bed a little while back, but a client wanted some comments on a document he had prepared for me as a spec, and needed me to comment on it before I went to bed so that he could be working on it as I sleep.

When I get given specs I often feel really positive about it, or really negative… Often the negative ones are the cases where people have read the marketing borchures a few too many times, and believe what they are saying. Thankfully in this case it is mostly positive with only a few marketing claims to be dealt with. I am looking forward to the next draft. If I can pull what the spec is wanting off, I think the results will be amazing!

Not sure why, but I decided to do some research on Harold Holt… I think I saw his name on Wikipedia on a list of people who are presumed dead… but who may be alive. The page on him is interesting. I had not realised that the USA navy named a ship after him… It was decommisioned and sunk off the coast of Hawaii a few years back… Some other quotes from Wikipedia… “On 2 September 2005, the Coroner’s finding was that Holt had drowned in accidental circumstances on 17 December 1967. There are also two Harold Holt memorial swimming pools, one in the Melbourne suburb of Malvern, and the other in Vung Tau, South Vietnam.
