Cordless Soldering Iron
We created this cordless soldering iron using Makita batteries using mostly off the shelf parts. The design can be downloaded for free.
The design is based on a HAKKO compatible soldering iron kit and is temperature controller. In order to protect batteries, it even has an under-voltage protector.
The best bit – we have made the 3D printing design free for anyone to use. It is our way of giving back
