Case Study - TeamTrack, Courier
Radioactive Networks has a history of providing hardware and software to the
courier industry. Take as an example the case of one of our clients based in
a major Australian capital city. Through a subsiduary company, Radioactive
Networks have just delivered 200 on their Hawktrak GPRS tracking units. This
courier company has been impressed with how Radioactive Networks responds to
their needs, even before they see the need themselves.
Since courier companies are usually more interested in where a vehicle is
now rather than where it has been in the past, we added the ability inside
the tracking unit to disable the recording of history. We also added a
feature that allowed the GPS receiver to be remotly deactivated since the
company had no interest in monitoring the location of vehicles after
hours.
Radioactive Networks worked extensively with the companies in-house
programming staff to ensure that the tracking system was perfectly
integrated with their existing systems. The fact that we have just delivered
our 200th unit to them is a testament to the Radioactive Networks HawkTrak.
Although this client has not purchased any back end software from us, our
TeamTrack software is tightly integrated to the capabilities of the
Hawktrak.
