Recieve Only tracking device. Allows the display of APRS like packets on a
GPS receiver. It is self-contained - just add a radio, batteries and a GPS
receiver that can understand NMEA waypoint uploading. |
X
|
This is similar to the AntiTracker Basic above, but will also upload
positions in GARMIN binary format suitable for more modern GPS receivers.
This unit can also upload ICONS attached to some position reports |

TinyTrak
III: Byonics TNC-less PIC based tracker. These units are fantastic, and even
allow timeslotting. Byonics in our preferred supplier of GPS tracking units |

WxTrak is based
on the same hardware as the TinyTrak II/III and allows a Weather station
such as the Peet Bros Ultimeter to transmit weather information without a
TNC. |

HamHud is a
Heads Up Display for APRS - quite similar to the display on the D700 but
built as a PIC projet. This is also a tracker with Smart Beaconing |

WM918 to TNC / UIDIGI INTERFACE - This project was inspired
by a need to run an APRS compliant weather station in a portable location
without the need to run a PC. There are currently a couple of WM918
standalone weather station projects about. These are generally based on the
PICE interface and while quite useable in the form of a standalone weather
station, they don't perform any other function. The thought was that in a
remote location the flexibility of interfacing a weather station easily into
an existing UIDIGI wide digipeter or standard TNC or similar, could be of
some benefit. |

The Micro Beacon II is a light weight (16 ounces with battery and
enclosure), beacon that includes a GPS receiver, packet radio MODEM, flight
recorder, temperature sensor, and a 70cm transceiver. In flight, the system
provides plain text APRS telemetry data (flight time, altitude, temperature,
and battery voltage) and $GPGGA/$GPRMC position reports.
The beacon provides an independent, high reliability packet radio locating
system system. Emphasis has been placed on simplicity, efficient power
usage, and weight reduction. Package design and build team - Louis (W7LMW)
with assistance from Dave (KD7KAS). |
