There was an interesting story in the paper yesterday about a proposed fight at James Mehan High School. No, I didnt find it interesting for that reason… The paper article quotes ‘Inspector Julian Griffiths’. This surprised me a bit – Julian was one of my best friends in primary and high school… Last I heard he was a senior sergent on the north coast. I guess he has now got a promotion. Wow.

Yesterday I saw what I would probably call one of the worlds smallest Notbook Computers. This one is actually mistaken for a video game it is that small, and runs windows XP. It has a 4.5″ touch screeen and two cameras. I must say that I am really impressed with it. It even has a slide out keyboard.

A friend provided a link to a site in the USA that provides accesories for amplifiers. In their case they are offering a wooden volume control so that vibrations can be minimised improving sound quality. That is what they are claiming. I think this is a total piece of rubbish.
