Pain and Suffering. I have a friend of mine working on a PIC project for me. This is taking MUCH longer than any of us thought. It is a really quick and fast project. There is almost nothing to it. And I thought that since he needs some work that I would give him a couple of hours work. It is not turning out like that unfortuantely. Like today my PIC programmer refused to program the parts so we needed to race down to Jaycar to pick up a new programmer.

And this programmer seems to be eating chips. I think I have only ever managed to kill two in my entire career… And then today we have killed another two. Not that they are expensive – they are not at only $3 each, but they should not be being killed. Why doesnt it just work?

Thankfully the job should be finished tomorrow I would guess… My friend will get a bit more than I originally agreed, but the project is on a budget, and I need to keep to it. Besides it is slightly over time as well, as I had hoped to have it complete last friday. Maybe tomorrow! I Hope!!!
