AlwaysOnline ISP
Radioactive Networks uses AlwaysOnline as it's ISP for ADSL access. ADSL
is a reseller of Telstra ADSL. Although they are small they are quite
responsive to their users. One big plus is that they allow you to run
servers on the permament IP address that you are allocated.
Essential Information for AlwaysOnline
Instructions for an Alcatel Speedtouch Pro
| Load http://10.0.0.138
Click Bridge
Click Delete next to BR1.
Click Save
Click Phonebook
Click Delete next to Br1
In the table at the bottom of the Phonebook screen, enter :

| AlwaysONLINE | 8 | 35 | PPP |
Click Add.
It should now appear in the Phonebook.
Click PPP.
Change the Encaps of the AlwaysONLINE entry to llc/nlpid
Click Add
Click Config next to AlwaysONLINE when the screen updates.
Enter your username, password, and change the Mode to "Always-on"
Click Apply Change the status from "Off" to "On" |
