AWXRadar is a Program that automatically downloads the latest Australian
Bureau of Meteorology Weather Radar Images from their web site. The program
places the WX Radar images in a nominated sub-directory, which can be your
UI-View Maps directory. If you have a .INF map reference file of the same name
as the image in the directory, UI-View will load the WX Radar Image as a UI-View
Map and display it. AWXRadar was written by John KB2SCS and is available for
downloading at http://www.qsl.net/kb2scs I
would like to thank John for all the work he has done to write this program. Image
files
Files names of the downloaded images comprise of the name of the BOM
Radar site name with a prefix of AWX1_ for 128Km images and AWX2_ for 256Km
images. The current collection of .INF files for AWXRadar are avalible from http://www.aprs.net.au/awxradar.
This list will be added to as time permits. If you have created
your own .INF file for an AWXRadar image please email it to Richard
VK3JFK. who will add them to the list.
