Sony Professional Video Cameras
RCP Interface
Radioactive Networks and Lateral Linking are have worked together to produce an
interface for the RCP (Remote Control Port) found on professional SONY video
cameras. This electrical interface allows a computer to either monitor the connection
between a control panel and the camera, or for the computer to actually control the
camera.
The electrical interdace is only half the story. We have also documented the protocol allowing us
to produce custom hardware and software for control of these cameras.
