2001 Goodwill Games

When the Goodwill Games came to Brisbane, Australia in 2001, Radioactive Networks was there. Working with Lateral Linking, Radioactive Networks provided custom software and hardware required to support the event.

Lateral Linking had a requirement to be able to remotely move a microwave dish, as well as control the settings of the receiver. The problem was that the microwave dish was on top of the channel 9 television tower in Brisbane. Radioactive Networks was able to integrate a GSM Modem allowing a user to dial into the control unit to control the dish. More information of is available here.
