According to the SMH, DELL will be starting a major Laptop Batter Recall soon. The details will be on this page but they are not there yet. They will be recalling about 18% of the batteries used in laptops manufactured between two dates. I hope mine is included… I think I need a new set of batteries in this machine. If not it will be a $170 battery for this machine. And if things work out I will get a new battery for my older laptop too 🙂
