The Story of the Photo –>

There is a story to the photo on the right side of this page up the top. The photo was taken just before Chirstmas 2000 in Hollywood. Through my work on the Paralympics I had got a consulting gig in the USA for a week. They took me over to the USA the week before Christmas to spend some time getting to know them with the idea that I would work on some future projects with them.
I should mention that the client was an animation studio on Sunset Blvd, and the guy I was working with has his own Acadamy Award. Anyway once I arrived there on the saturday I had a sleep at the hotel for an hour or so, and then went exploring Hollywood Blvd. From memory I went down towards Vine St first, and then returned towards the Chineese Theatre. This is where they all place hands and feet in the cement, next to the Highland Centre, the new home to the Acadamy Awards.
Anyway just past the Chineese Theatre I found the Hollywood Entertainment Museum. From memory it it is 7000 Hollywood Blvd, and I paid my US$7 for a tour. The tour was not what I expected, and took more than an hour. One of the things they had there was the original set from Cheers, which actually was licensed as a bar for special occasions, such as the SuperBowl. Paramount had donated lots of StarTrek stuff, including transporter pads, and the bridge and captains ready room from the Enterprise.
This photo is actually of me sitting in the captains chair from the Starship after a 13 hour flight with almost no sleep.

New Tim-Tam Variety…
There is a new variety of Tim-Tam’s. It is Chilli-Chocolate. And yes, it is a bit more tangy… Not a bad variety – although I dont think I would have every come up with that variety in a million years.
