If you
look carefully above where the copper strip joins the PCB you will see
some aftermarket modifications. These are actually two 1N914 diodes surface
mounted to the PCB. I removed the that was there and surface mounted two
new diodes. This gave me extended transmit and receive... For those saying
that this might be illegal, I now have full transmit in the 70 CM band
- something the TH-D7A does not normally have.
