Yesterday we were working on the tail of the plane &#8211; working on adjusting the fibreglass caps for the horizontal and vertical stabalizer. This involed a lot of cutting and drilling fibreglass which was not actually too bad. Wearing a facemask during cutting kept most of the dust out of the lungs &#8211; although there was not too much dust anyway. That comes later. <\/p>\n<p>We also found something really useful out &#8211; cutting polystyrene foam with a bandsaw is not only really easy (as you would expect &#8211; I was going to say that it cuts like a hot knife through butter, but a hot knife usually has more resistance), but it does not create a huge mess&#8230; It cuts cleanly and does not fill the workshop with lots of polystyrene beads&#8230; What more could you ask.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Now that I am slightly more rested than last night I can get to updating here on building the plane and other things.
