I got offered some more work from one of my existing clients today – some embedded hardware work with a small display… Unfortunately I cannot say much about the product at the moment, but it will be quite useful… Another fun project. The client now needs to write me a spec and then design the hardware… <\/p>\n

Tomorrow I will be actually working from home – I have enough projects to keep myself going – more than enough. The program I have been mostly working on today is debugged as far as it is written, but needs more work. I have not put in much error checking yet. What is it they say about all software… any program that is fully debugged needs to be extended. In this case that is definitely the case.<\/p>\n

I have mentioned in the past that I have got some work done from Eastern Europe – some web services stuff. The coding is running a bit behind, and I emailed the programmer if he wanted to outsource some of the work with me paying for the outsourcing… The response came back that things should be back on track now, and I can then get about 3-4 function calls written per day from now on… So I replied back saying that I loved his work, and letting him know that he was definitely getting a big bonus, and I would be happy to be a referee if he ever needed one…<\/p>\n

And the response was that working on the job was enough – he was enjoying the work so much… That is the type of contractor that I love… Of course he will get paid more too…<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
