According to a few sources, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.theregister.com\/2006\/08\/23\/qantas_dell_measures\" \/>Qantas<\/a> is forcing some people with DELL laptops to tape over the battery contacts on their computers, even if the battery is not part of the great DELL battery recall. I guess this is another reason to buy an after market battery. But I can hear it now&#8230; &#8216;No sir, I do not care if your laptop has a genuine battery or not. We are required to tape the batteries of all DELL laptops&#8230;.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>I have been doing some software development, and I was wondering why the software was not running correctly&#8230; And realised how simple the solution was. Rather than run the routine every 15 seconds, I was trying to do it every 15,000 seconds. Needless to say I really did not want to wait the four hours to see the program run.
