I woke up twice but I went back to sleep. Maybe I am getting over this jetlag thing. That is my hope at least!!!<\/p>\n<p>Microsoft has released some Vista User Interface Guidelines. The first <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/library\/default.asp?url=\/library\/en-us\/UxGuide\/UXGuide\/Principles\/TopViolations\/TopViolations.asp\">set<\/a> lists a heap of suggestions in words, including the suggestion to use goal orientied phrases rather than technology oriented ones. For instance &#8216;Print both sides of the page&#8217; rather than &#8216;Use Duplexer&#8217;. The second <a href=\"http:\/\/msdn.microsoft.com\/library\/default.asp?url=\/library\/en-us\/UxGuide\/UXGuide\/Resources\/TopRules\/TopRules.asp\">page<\/a> lists a heap of graphical styles that developers like me should use. <\/p>\n<p>And in the USA, there is a file sharing case with a difference. The <a href=\"http:\/\/recordingindustryvspeople.blogspot.com\/2006\/09\/preclusion-motion-filed-in-umg-v.html\">defendant<\/a> is arguing that since the RIAA did not download the songs from her computer they cannot be sure that the files are exact copies as claimed in the lawsuit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I slept much much better last night thankfully.
