I still have not packed for the trip tomorrow. Well, not really. I have a couple of DVD’s out of my collection in case I get board, or in case my friends cannot provide wireless access. And I have the phone cable in the bag for dialup internet. And I have the phone charger out. I should not need it but you never know. One trip I dialed up to the Intenet over my cellphone after the model that my client put me up in was so poor that there was not even a phone in the room, and the alarm clock did not work. Well, I guess that is the important stuff taken care of. <\/p>\n

The laptop will be shut down first thing in the morning. What I tend to do is read the email at the airport and reply then. This is OK in the Qantas Club on dialup, but for other times I need to wait until I am connected to a lan or dialup. <\/p>\n

This time i have packed some headphones in my laptop bag and placed some MP3 files on the HDD… I have some things I can do without being connected… Some writing that I can do… <\/p>\n

This photo was taken at the Tower of London, pointing to the Gift Shop. This bear was basically life size, and people would get their photos taken by him. Well, I am guessing that the bear is a ‘Him’ since so few bears are ‘her’ and also the job seems to be an exclusively male one.

Around the corner these two little characters were for sale. They don’t look as happy as their bigger cousin as far as I can tell.
