If you are looking at visiting Hawaii, I would suggest having a look at this article. On a different subject, the SMH has an article asking how environmentally friendly the ‘green’ shopping bags are.

Software

Not that the diagram below shows anything but I was working on it last night so I thought I might add it here anyway. It looks sort of cute, showing the flow within the program – of what routines are called where. The reason I needed to do this is that I need to significantly modify one of the major functions, and work out the best way to do this mod. This major function is called by six other functions. So I need to work out the best way to do the changes I need to implement.

OK. I have just finished the re-organizing of the data, and trialed a new user interface for the software. The software started off today being called ‘TeamTrack II’, became ‘TeamTrack Pro’ and is now ‘TeamTrack Pro Beta’. Actually Beta is the wrong word since it is not up to that stage yet. But it is not production which is what I am wanting to indicate.

I am taking a few minutes from doing that work whilst I think about how to implement the next bit. I am not really sure what I have to implement at this stage. I just have some ideas in my head, and I need a few minutes before I start coding them.

Diary

Other than a Blog, I do also sometimes write in a Diary. It has been months since I last wrote in it. I have been doing this on and off for a few years. Back in 1997 I was looking for some software to do this and found It’s Personal. This software managed the diary entries, and also had password protection. Those are the two features needed for any decent diary program. It works fairly well, and I don’t have any issues with it. Sure, it could be improved, but it suits my need. The Blog is good for things I don’t mind other people knowing. The diary is for all else, my private thoughts.

Music:

I have had a weird collection of music being played. Firstly ‘Blade Runner Blues’ by Vangelis. Then some Evanescence followed by ‘History’ from Robert Palmer. I think I will play some more Evanescence now…

Articles News.Com.Au in their travel section has a story about travelling to Hawaii and going inland rather than staying on the coastline.
