OK… I was going to post last night, but… Well, you know. I had the talk to give, and then get home… and then I wanted to relax driving home. Not that I could have written the Blog whilst driving… Then once I got home I wanted to watch the bill… <\/p>\n
The talk was good… I guessed that it would take about 90 minutes to get there during peak hour… It ended up taking about 45 minutes, so I managed to update the presentation whilst I was waiting outside in my car. And I added some finishing touches to a blog entry too… I was on Vodafone GPRS at the time.<\/p>\n
The meeting was good. When I got there I found that I was on for about 15 minutes… When it had been organized I asked how long the meeting went for, and was told two hours… So I assumed that I had an hour or so to talk… But I only had 15 minutes so I needed to compress my presentation in time, and not go into as much detail as I would have liked. <\/p>\n
But the talk went well I think. I got some laughs. This laptop has an annoying habit of turning off the main screen when you plug in a video projector which was a pain – a real pain. But I coped with that. I get the impression that most of the people there would have loved to see the presentation in full length rather than in a 20 minute version… Still I think it was a good marketing exercise.<\/p>\n
