I have just got home from Richard and Michelle’s where I spent a few too many hours. This was fun though, since we actually got some plane building done. I really enjoyed myself, but it will be the last one for a while… We got more of the floor put on, right up to the front firewall. <\/p>\n

Actually, we got some more drilling done too, some more side skins put on too. Dimpling and deburring. Of course Richard’s garage is far far too small… With the size of things I found myself re-creating the movie Entrapment staring Catherine Zeta Jones… You know all the crawling up and down…. To cross from one side to the other involved crawling under the plane…<\/p>\n

You would not believe how much time I spent on my knees and back today… What was worse is that I hit my head on the plane a couple of times. Thankfully no damage was done – to the plane. There was enough damage done to my head to cause bleeding. An hour later Richard thought it was still bleeding… That is how bad it was. Thankfully the bleeding had stopped after a minute or two, and it was more weeping than bleeding…<\/p>\n

Anyway we got the garage enough cleaned up so that the fuselage and the car can fit both in the garage together. That is really impressive…It was a real good effort… The plane is starting to get really heavy… and really stiff too which is good… <\/p>\n

Right now it is time to put the laptop away… and relax…<\/p>\n
