Ok… Um… Where am I up to… <\/p>\n
I need to get some programming done – I could buy a component to do it, but they cost from US$300-US$3000, and I am not really happy about that cost. I want something that I can include into my own software, and distribute as needed… And that was not really offered at a reasonable price. So once again I have gone to a coding site to get a quote on the work. I doubt that it will cost too much – I cannot really be bothered spending the 3-4 hours on this. But I will if I need to.<\/p>\n
I also outsourced another piece of work – a control to decode some data I am getting from a tracking unit. I have outsourced that a different way. Once I get that one written I might actually offer it for sale on my WWW site. Might be a nice little money earner. I might do the same for the first bit of code too. We will see. <\/p>\n
On my WWW site there are five metrics used to measure the performance. Today it broke the last of those metrics over what traffic there was last month. This is really impressive – and just shows how important search engines are these days in getting traffic to a site.<\/p>\n
There is a story on Yahoo<\/a> about how people are adding chargers to hybrid vehicles like the toyota Prius to improve the fuel economy. There are SIGNIFICANT savings to be made this way. <\/p>\n
