{"id":2265,"date":"2005-08-23T08:20:00","date_gmt":"2005-08-22T22:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/new.radio-active.net.au\/web3\/2265\/"},"modified":"2014-10-10T12:33:08","modified_gmt":"2014-10-10T01:33:08","slug":"2265","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.radio-active.net.au\/web3\/2265","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love this&#8230; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.improveverywhere.com\/mission_view.php?mission_\">This Group<\/a> of comdians decided to do a U2 imitation on the top of a building&#8230; Dressing up as U2, and playing a concert&#8230; All in New York&#8230; And got a whole lot of their friends to act as a &#8216;Flash Mob&#8217; to turn up to create the initial crowd&#8230; The Police were not impressed as it caused traffic disruptions and that sort of thing&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>They have done some other cute projects in the past, like create a black tie bathroom attendant with free soaps and towels in McDonalds&#8230; And I think the best is the Synchronised Swimming trial for the Olympics in a pond in Central Park&#8230; Interesting site&#8230; <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2005\/TECH\/08\/22\/moog.obit.ap\/index.html%3Cbr\" \/>>CNN<\/a> is reporting that Synthesizer pioneer and all around vanguard of electronic music, Bob Moog, has passed away at age 71. Dr Moog built his first electronic instrument &#8211; a theremin &#8211; aged 14 and made the MiniMoog, &#8220;the first compact, easy-to-use synthesizer&#8221;, in 1964. He was the first to bring the electronic synthesizer within reach of most musicians, and his early work, the &#8220;Minimoog&#8221; is still highly praised, and often emulated, to this day.<\/p>\n<p>And finally <a href=\"http:\/\/entertainment.news.com.au\/story\/0,10221,16354497-10229,00.html\">News.Com.Au<\/a> is reporting that the Paris Hilton Wedding is off&#8230; And for a really bizzare reason.
